{ christina + james tie the knot! }

If it's true that rain on your wedding day brings good luck to your marriage, Christina and James will surely have a marriage full of blessings! The morning of their wedding, the heavens opened up and blessed them with massive amounts of rain! Even though the dark rain clouds looked like they were there to stay, the sun came out at the perfect time and we had gorgeous warm weather all afternoon. As soon as we headed inside for the reception, the rain clouds came back and it started to pour again! I think someone up above was smiling down on Christina and James today as they joined together as husband and wife.

Congratulations to you both, and I truly hope that you share many years of blessings during your life together!

{ Gina + Curtis }

If you looked up 'two peas in a pod' in the dictionary, I'm pretty sure you'd see Gina and Curtis. They first met in early high school and became best friends. They spent 5 incredible years doing absolutely everything together. It wasn't until Gina's second year of university that they realized they are completely perfect for each other. They just woke up one morning and realized everything they were looking for in a partner, they had already found in each other… and they have been inseparable since :)

Gina and Curtis, I had a blast watching you together yesterday.. I can see the incredible amounts of love that you have for each other just oozing out all over the place!! :) I just love that you are so in love with each other and I can hardly wait to capture your wedding day!

This little handsome man is only 5 days old! 5-10 days old is the best time to do newborn photos because they are so sleepy and they still curl up into positions easily.

What a perfect little baby.. congratulations!

Jenn was born and raised in Kingston… and when she moved out to L.A, she just happened to meet Gregg on the day she arrived. Gregg, being the nice guy he is, offered to show her around L.A… and as fate would have it, they fell in love :)

Jenn and Gregg were so easy to photograph… constantly giggling, flirting and joking around. They are a perfect match, and I know their lives together will be filled with love and laughter. I am looking forward to capturing their wedding day this September!

{ Meghan + Steve are married! }

Meghan and Steve were such a delight to work with.. always full of smiles and up for anything I asked them to do :) I know it sounds crazy, but most brides wouldn't walk across a field in high heels for good photos.. but Meghan didn't even give it a second thought :)

It was such a pleasure photographing Meghan and Steve during their engagement session so I knew their wedding would be a blast! They became husband and wife during an intimate outdoor ceremony at Vimy Officer's Mess as the sun shone down on them. I think Meghan's dad said it best during his speech… "your future is an empty canvas just waiting to be painted…" and then he quoted Robert Browning by saying "Grow old with me, the best is yet to be."

Meghan and Steve, thank you for being so amazing.. I had so much fun photographing your wedding, and I wish you both a life full of love and happiness.

Tiffany and Mike are so sweet together. You can see it in the way they look at each other that they are soul mates and best friends.

I just love their story so I'm going to share it with you :)

They met when they were little.. Tiffany was only 6 and Mike was 12. Tiffany had a major crush on Mike, but Mike had no idea (boys aren't very smart at this age..haha). Tiffany was best friends with Mike's sister and Mike was best friends with Tiffany's brother. Their whole childhood, they grew up around each other but never dated. But, 5 years ago, they realized they are completely perfect for each other and they have been head over heels in love ever since! Tiffany says every year that has gone by is a dream come true, and she can't wait to marry her best friend and soul mate.

Tiffany and Mike, thanks for fun photo session! I had a blast and I can't wait to photograph your dream wedding this fall!

i don't think little girls can get much sweeter than this :)

gorgeous 9 month old mia was so wonderful during her session this morning, especially since it was a little chilly to begin with! her eyes were so full of wonder as she crawled through the grass trying to eat everything she saw… what a fun age!
